#ÖKOPROFIT (by the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce) stands for a practice-oriented approach to environmental management, with the aim of conserving resources, reducing operational emissions, increasing eco-efficiency and embedding sustainability within the organisation.
Working together for environmental and climate protection
On 16 September 2026, Sinsoma GmbH welcomed the ÖKOPROFIT Audit Commission. As part of the audit, we presented our environmental achievements to date and engaged in direct dialogue with representatives from politics, business, research and interest groups.
Sustainability and environmental protection are deeply embedded in Sinsoma’s corporate philosophy. In its follow-up report, the Commission particularly highlighted the following strengths and key achievements:
- Sustainable mobility: Reduction of transport-related emissions through the Klimaticket scheme, home working arrangements, and the prioritisation of rail travel for business trips and online meetings.
- Resource conservation: Consistent reuse of outer packaging, cardboard boxes and shipping materials.
- Practical environmental programme: Regular meetings to gather ideas and drive continuous improvement.
- Outstanding innovations and commitment: The test kits receiving the European Award for Ecological Gardening, as well as active partner management and the involvement of the general public (‘citizen science’).
Inspiration for the future
The Commission’s valuable feedback provides us with important impetus for future initiatives, including increased cross-sector dialogue on eco-friendly materials and the further development of our digitalisation and quality processes.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Audit Commission and the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce for their support throughout the ÖKOPROFIT process, and to our entire team for their daily commitment to environmental and climate protection! 🌱✨
